Our story began at the Townsville Hospital, where fate brought a Doctor and a nursing student together. A chance encounter at the Heritage Bar on Flinders Street not long after led to our first coffee date at Juliette's on the Strand — the beginning of something truly special.

Over time, we discovered just how much we had in common, especially our shared sense of humour and fun, which has become one of the strongest threads in our relationship. Life took us to Brisbane, where Luke began his Pathology training and Sam her neonatal training, and our bond only grew deeper.

After eight wonderful years together, Luke surprised Sam with the adventure of a lifetime — a trip to Easter Island to witness a solar eclipse. Under a sky full of stars, Luke said "Will you marry me?".

Now, as we begin this next chapter, we’re so excited to celebrate with all of you — the people who’ve supported and loved us along the way.
